Mexican Independence Day

September 16 - Celebrate Mexico’s Independence Day on September 16! 2010 is the year of the Bicentennial Celebrations in Mexico commemorating 200 years of Independence from Spanish rule. The holiday of Cinco De Mayo, The 5th Of May,  is not, as many people think, Mexico’s Independence Day.
