CPEHN Training - Unlocking the Playground: Achieving Equity In Physical Activity Spaces

CPEHN’s Unlocking the Playground: Achieving Equity In Physical Activity Spaces workshop will focus on the lack of safe spaces for our communities to be physically active, and what people across the state are doing on this important issue. Come hear about the experiences of local advocates and school personnel in opening up school facilities to create environments that promote health.

This interactive convening will feature presentations by Public Health Law & Policy, local advocates, and CPEHN, as well as opportunities for networking.

The session will provide participants with:

* An overview of joint use and its importance in creating healthier communities
* Examples of best practices and lessons to improve local access to physical activity spaces
* Opportunities to strategize, mobilize, and advocate on this emerging issue
